It’s not at all new in Sandalwood wherein director enters into the ‘acting’ shoes! Upendra, Jogi Prem and many are in the list! With 'Preeti Geeti Ityadi', Pawan Wadeyar of 'Googly' and 'Govindaya Namaha' fame adds up to that list! 'Preeti...' also marks the debut of Veerendra familiarly also known as Virus Veerendra who has earlier worked in Yograj Bhat’s camp.

'Preeti Geeti Ityadi', like Yograj Bhat’s 'Mungaru Male', is based on the theme that ‘Forgiveness is the biggest strength in love.’ The movie offers nothing new with regard to the storyline, as various movies of similar story line has already come. While watching the movie one can definitely recall Ambareesh’s 'Hosa Theerpu' or 'Tum Bin' in Hindi.

Pawan Wadeyar’s sister will be involved in an accident, and the victim dies on the spot. They flee from the spot and later Pawan, tries to find out the family of the victim. He learns about the pathetic condition of the family which in turn puts him o the guilty mode and decides to help the family.

Meanwhile he falls in love with the victim’s daughter Nandu (Sangeetha Bhat) and is not sure whether to reveal the truth about the accident. Will he confess? Will she forgive and lead life with him? Or will Pavan not reveal the truth and live under the mask of good hearted man? You have to watch the movie to find out this!

Pavan has tried his best in acting and needs lot of improvisation especially while doing emotional scenes. The boy next door image, which is the demand of the character, has helped him in the movie. Sangeetha promises a good career in Sandalwood. She is tailor-made for the role. Rangayana Raghu with his amazing dialogue delivery and his role as father who supports his helpless son is the highlight. Vinaya Prasad and other’s roles crafted nicely and are executed well. Yogaraj Bhat and Jayanth Kaikini's lyrics and Veer Samarth’s music are worth listening to. Over all it is a movie worth watching once if you are a movie buff!

Verdict: Watchable
