South superstar Prithviraj had got into national headlines with his roles in Aiyyaa and in the recently released Aurangzeb. But sadly the talented Malayalam star could not create any ripples in B-town.

The actor was all excited about his forthcoming film, Happy New Year, directed by Farah Khan. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Boman Irani. The fourth male lead was Prithviraj, as per reports from Bollywood.

But certain highly placed sources suggest that Prithviraj may be replaced from the film and the front-runner to replace him is Naseeruddin Shah's son, Vivaan Shah, who was earlier seen in Saat Khoon Maaf

Prithviraj has completed shooting for Jeethu Joseph's Memories and is currently in London, facing the camera for Anil C Menon's London Bridge. He is also playing the lead in Tamil director Vasanthabalan's Kaaviya Thalaivan with Siddharth.
In fact, Prithviraj had recently commented that he is not aware about when the shooting of Happy New Year will start, which has been delayed due to Shah Rukh Khan's illness.

The news of Prithviraj's exit from the film could be mere gossip. We will keep you updated on the latest for sure.Watch this space!
