Kareena Kapoor is on a ditching spree - movies, that is.
After opting out of Ekta Kapoor's Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai 2, an untitled Ekta and Karan Johar venture, and Rohit Shetty's Chennai Express, Kareena recently said no to Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram Leela.
Inspired by Romeo and Juliet, the film was to star Ranveer Singh and Kareena. Now reports claim, Priyanka Chopra has accepted the lead role.
Though rumours abounded that Kareena walked out because of her impending wedding, the actress said it had more to do with dates.
"I had allotted 100 days for the shooting in August as per the contract, but Mr Bhansali wanted more days to shoot," said Kareena. "My managers [Reshma Shetty and Zahid Khan] thought about it and decided it wasn’t possible as I have signed three new big films for next year."
