Producers and Actors hold meetings

The South Indian Artistes Association (SIAA) popularly known as Nadigar Sangam and Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC), held separate meetings on Sunday (Sep 11)

At the Sarath Kumar led Nadigar Sangam the meeting was all about non-association members from other languages having a field day in Kollywood.

They have requested producers to give chance only to actors who hold Nadigar Sangam cards, to work in Tamil films.

Meanwhile at the meeting of Tamil Film Producers Council it was announced that elections will be held on October 9. 

Producer Ibrahim Rowther would be the polling officer.  Out of the 750 regular members around 250 members attended the Sunday meet.

SA Chandrasekhar TFPC acting president said: “There were many allegations against the previous regime who were running TFPC. Now we have decided to lodge a police complaint about swindling of the council funds”.
