Super star Puneet Rajkumar’s next film is expected to go on the floors by April end though the project will be officially announced on his birthday on March 17 in Bangalore.

The film, to be directed by Telugu film-maker Jayanth C Paranji, has romance as the theme. A significant portion of the movie is expected to be shot in the US, particularly in the city of New York.

Though Puneet has been acting in movies of romance genre, this untitled film will be a completely at a different level, something on the lines of his blockbuster Milana, which saw Puneet in a typical lover boy.

Puneet’s last two films – Anna Bond and Yaare Koogadali – were hits but not comparable to his other blockbusters. Both films had heavy dose of action sequences, something that he excels in. The actor had taken a break from his busy schedule to shoot for the Kannada version of KBC.

It looks like the star actor is keen on returning to the romantic genre. Paranji, who originally hails from Bangalore, had narrated a story to Puneet and the same has been finalized. Tentatively titled Ninnindale, the star cast and technical crew of the movie is not yet named. The title is borrowed from a hit song from the movie Milana.

The movie will be produced by a well-known banner and is expected to be complete by August. Puneet has become selective with his projects in the last two years.
