A special premiere show of the film was held on Saturday after which a press conference was organised.
Director B.Suresha said that though he has based his script on a short story written by writer-director Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar two decades ago, he has made lot of research to narrate the film in a realistic manner.
"I have taken many shades of the issue of development vs. displacement debate, which may enlighten the film audience. Thankfully I had the support of many good artists and technicians like Shruthi, Prakash Raj and Hamsalekha who have contributed their best for the film", said Suresha.
Prakash Raj who is also a production partner in the film besides portraying the role of Shani Krishna in the film has used the Mandya Kannada accent throughout the film.
"When Suresha narrated the script I was so impressed to see my friend working on many facets of this debate. Suresha has also carried lot of sensibilities in his script which shows how people have become insensitive to other's feelings", says Prakash Raj.
"As a producer I am happy to be associated with my friend B.Suresha and his wife Shylaja Nag as we have decided to make honest and healthy attempts to reach out to people", said Prakash Raj.
Shruthi plays the title role in the film said that she was happy to be part of film which was made by people who have a strong passion for cinema.
