Quick Gun Murugan is generating a lot of curiosity these days. The film, which stars south Indian superstar Rajendra Prasad as a funny, sambar-loving cowboy, has garnered attention thanks to its hilarious promos and innovative marketing strategy.
Keeping in sync with the theme of the film, the makers have come up with yet another offbeat way to promote the film. Prasad is all set to break into the Guinness World Record by making the longest dosa in the world.
Sixteen cooks at the Sankalp restaurant in Ahmedabad (which currently holds the world record for the longest dosa–30 feet) will help him make the dosa in 40 minutes.
"Since the film promotes the importance of vegetarian food, we thought it would be a good idea to make our protagonist [Rajendra Prasad] promote vegetarianism by making this popular south Indian dish," said Vivek Krishnani of Fox Star Studios.
The film takes a hilarious look at the clash between vegetarian and non-vegetarian food lovers with protagonist Quick Gun Murugan fighting for vegetarian food.
Quick Gun Murugan releases on August 28 and we hope it turns out to be as masaledaar as its promos.
