Actor and philanthropist Raghava Lawrence has a goodwill among youngsters after he joined students during the Jallikattu protest. The latest is that Lawrence has come forward to donate RS 15 lakhs to NEET Anitha's family.
Anitha's family had refused to accept 7 lakhs announced by the Tamil Nadu Government. Not only Lawrence, many directors and actors extended their support to Anitha's family.
Director Ranjith recently arranged a meet spread awareness on how NEET pressurized Anitha to commit suicide and how caste divides Tamil people across the globe.
Also, leading actors including Kamal Haasan and Suriya have criticized Government for not understanding the impact of NEET among students in the state.
