Raj TV’s hunt for Tamil speaking actors

Raj TV is hosting a new reality show titled Tamil Pesum Kadhanayagi (TPK). The idea is to unearth fresh talent among girls who can speak in Tamil.

The auditions for this reality show have been held in Madurai and Coimbatore and will also be held in Chennai, Palakkad, Bangalore, Mumbai and Malaysia. Those shortlisted will be given training in acting and their performance assessed.

Top directors will be judging the show and contestants may be given a chance to perform in their films. Says Mala Manian CEO of Raj TV: “In an industry which lacks Tamil-speaking heroines we are searching for a girl who can speak fluently in Tamil and is also star material through our reality show TPK. Weare trying to unearth new talent who can be future Tamil heroines.”

The show is backed by reputed directors like AR Murgadoss, KV Anand,Vetrimaran, Rajesh and AL Vijay. They have promised to give chances if they spot extraordinary talent.
