Sandalwood queen Ramya is at it again! The actress has filed a police complaint against two leading film photojournalists of Bangalore for allegedly uploading her pictures (working stills) on social networking sites and internet without taking her permission!
The incident took place when Ramya was shooting for her movie Neer Dose opposite comedy actor Jaggesh in Bangalore. The director and producer had invited the media to the sets of the film when shooting was cancelled because of “bee attack”.
However, Ramya reportedly objected to the photojournalists randomly shooting her candid pictures on the sets. But the photo scribes claimed that they were there just doing their job at the invitation of the film’s producer!
Apparently, Ramya, who has put on weight for her role in Neer Dose, did not want working stills of the movie to be released when shooting was still in progress. Subsequently, the photojournalists left the shooting sets. As there were no specific directions from the makers of Neer Dose, one of the photojournalists uploaded an image of Ramya that he took on the sets to his film news website. This picture was then circulated on the internet and various social networking platforms by unathuorized persons.
Ramya, who was shocked to see the circulation of her unedited picture from the sets of Neer Dose, approached the police for infringing upon her privacy. She lodged a complaint with the Ashoknagar police station against the two photojournalists alleging that the pictures had caused her immense disturbance. But her actions have upset the film media fraternity and Jaggesh is trying to broker peace between the actress and the photojournalists.
