If sources are to be believed then Golden Girl Ramya, who is now the Member of Parliament will not be doing Neer Dose anymore.
She was quoted saying “This is the end. I don’t think I’m going to do any more movies. If you look at other actresses they got into politics when their careers were waning. I’m still at the top. Ambareesh uncle and Govinda could do both, but I don’t think the public will accept an MP who is running around trees in short skirts and sleeveless blouses.”
Reading about this in a newspaper actor Jaggesh got furious and took to twitter to bare his wrath. He was seen exclaiming that it was highly unethical of her to refuse to complete the movie, just because she got elected to the parliament. He also told that he wasn’t doing this for any publicity and that he was more concerned about the producer and the director.
Neer dose is directed by Vijayprasad who had earlier worked with Ramya in Sidlingu. The makers had started shooting the movie in March but due to the actress’s busy schedule the shooting was paused in August. With rumours of her quitting the acting industry the film team is now left in a lurch.
Speaking about the director, Jaggesh said “good content should not go in vain because of someone’s ego since the director has done a good job.”
31 years old Ramya, the youngest MP in parliament who had earlier replied to Jaggesh’s tweets speaking to the media said “I need not answer to the rumours. Few people talk in the term of politics, and for publicity stunts. But I am not doing either.”
After the much star studded tweet war Jaggesh finally concluded saying “I am speaking this from the bottom of my heart. It will be useful for them if they understand or else it will be a joke.”
