'Randamoozham' in Malayalam, 'Mahabharata' in other languages

Six Indian films to follow Baahubali's success formula!

As the controversies over the title of his film continues, director Shreekumar Menon has made a clarification that the 1000 crore magnum opus with Mohanlal as the hero will be called Randamoozham in Malayalam.

Outside Malayalam, the film will be called Mahabharata, based on M T Vasudevan Nair’s Randamoozham.

There have been threats from some Hindu hardliners that the film will not be allowed to release with the title Mahabharata, as this one is author M T Vasudevan Nair’s version of the epic.

Producer B R Shetty and director Shreekumar Menon has said that they have the blessings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the production will be part of the Make in India campaign.
