Popular online movie database website IMDB (International Movie Data Base) has listed out the top ten Indian movies of the year 2018. The list is based on special formulae used by IMDB which also consider the votes of fans and critics.
Interestingly, Vishnu Vishal- director Ram Kumar’s psycho-thriller film ‘Ratsasan’ has been ranked as the second best film released so far in 2018. Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha Krishnan’s romantic drama ’96’ secured third position. The team members of Ratsasan and ’96’ have expressed their happiness on their social networking pages and press statements.
Besides these two films, the other two South films which are in the top ten list are Telugu films ‘Mahanati’ (4) and Rangasthalam (7) respectively. The rest of the films in the top ten list are from Hindi and among all the movies released in India, Andhadhun has been ranked as the best film.
