The film is said to be a remake of Annamalai. The only common factor in both the films is the friendship between two men who split up turn enemies and then become friends again. The original had lot of sentiments and stress on family relationships but Upendra who thinks as superstar has put in lots of fights and dialogues for frontbenchers to keep his image intact.

The film obviously becomes a big bore and one feels angry when you think of the original. The Superstardom has gone to the head of Upendra who makes the film a vehicle to project himself as a superman. An average moviegoer might reject this film.

Due credit must be given to Upendra for skill in action scenes but one man against 100 guys is too much. Rakshitha provides oomph in plenty. Gurukiran's music is catchy.
