RGV was almost written off. Some of his fans doubted his film-making skills.
After Sarkar Raj he hasn`t been able to deliver a good film. His latest film that hit screens last week was 26/11 Pai Daadi.
To an extent RGV has been successful in proving that he has not lost his film making expertise.
This film is drawing good crowds in Andhra Pradesh. But the rest of India has not received the film very well. The movie is running full house in Hyderabad and other places in AP. Critics described the film as jingoistic. But this nationalism factor has gone well with the audience. They are not complaining, on the contrary its claps and more claps.
The film began in a good manner. The first half of the film almost put RGV back on track. Many things seemed so right, but as the film progresses it falters. Raw emotions have struck a chord with the audiences.
People in Hyderabad connected with the film because very recently they witnessed bombing in Dil Sukh Nagar in Hyderabad.
