Rima Kallingal questions Censor Board’s double standards.
“There was a problem for the Censor Board when a scene from Aabhasam showed the thighs of Surajettan (Suraj Venjarammoodu). But a friend pointed out to me that it was allowed in Pulimuragan,” says actress Rima Kallingal about the issues that they have faced during the censoring of Aabhasam.
Aabhasam, directed by Jubith Namradath, has Suraj and Rima in the lead roles. The film will hit the screens on May 4.
“Some rules are fair. But if we can’t criticize certain realities that are happening around us through an art form, then I doubt if we live in a democracy,” she said during an interview with News 18 Keralam channel.
