Popular comedy actor Robo Shankar has allotted 50 days for Thala Ajith’s Viswasam. Robo Shankar is super excited as he hasn’t met Thala Ajith so far in his career.
Though the Maari comedian hasn’t listened to the script, director Siva’s team asked him to allocate 50 days call sheet because it’s a prominent role.
Viswasam already has Thambi Ramaiah and Yogi Babu on board, Robo Shankar is definitely another valuable addition to the comedy department of the film. Nayanthara is Thala Ajith’s pair in Viswasam and Imman has been confirmed to compose music.
The makers of Viswasam had plans to start the shoot of the film on March 23 but now with the ongoing strike, they have to push the first schedule to April. Earlier, the producers had Diwali release plans but because of Tamil Film Producers Council’s unexpected announcement, they have no other choice but to push the release date to December 2018 or Pongal 2019.
The other two Diwali releases Thalapathy 62 and Suriya’s NGK will also be affected because of the TFPC’s strike against digital service providers.
While all other states in South India are fine with the charges quoted by Digital Service Providers, we don’t know how far the strike of Tamil Film Producers Council would fetch the desired result to them. A section of observers feels that this strike would further affect the film going habit of the audiences.
