Sachin Tendulkar is not just a name, itís an inspiration. The name has the power to give goosebumps to any ardent fan of the gentlemenís game; such is the stature of that name. Audiences somewhat experience a similar feeling after watching the movie. Sachin-Tendulkar Alla gives you an impression of being a childrenís movie, but it is definitely not restricted to a particular section of audience.

Interestingly, this movie isnít specifically made for any awards. The movie is a typical entertainer with all the commercial elements woven into the story.

The movie revolves around Sachin (Master Snehith), who suffers from autism. In addition to this, Sachin is diagnosed with brain tumor and accordingly is counting his days. His elder sister (Suhasini) is unmarried for the reason that she has to take care of her brother.

Sachin in spite of his poor health has only one dream- he wants to be a cricket player. Suhasini takes up the responsibility to make his dream come true. Entry: Venkatesh Prasad! Dinesh (Venkatesh Prasad), a cricket coach takes a break from his career to help Sachin realisel his dream. Will Sachin be able to play cricket amidst fast bowlers? Will Sachinís dream come true? You should find out from theatres!

Sudharani (school principal) plays a major role in shaping Sachinís career. Suhasiniís acting needs a mention here. Her patience, inspiring words and her eye expressions are amazing though she seems to be a bit over-emotional on occasions. Venkatesh Prasad starts off with ease and perfectly suits the role of a cricket coach. The movie also stars another cricketer Javagal Srinath. Ever since the movieís launch, the team had not disclosed about Srinathís role in the movie. We shall maintain the same here!

The movie is worth watching as it has much more than just cricket. An aspiring young ladís immense passion for cricket and his battle with illness is well portrayed. Master Snehith wins the audiencesí heart! The movie also shows how important a family is and how one can reach greater heights with good guidance and support.

In an era where top stars in the industry are opting for remakes, a movie like Sachin stands apart. The script is fresh and original. Music director Rajesh Ramnath has done a decent job as music flows along with the movie.

Verdict: Worth a watch
