And the entire star cast - Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez and Ameesha Patel - were on hand to share the news with their fans.

"After many years, a Hindi movie will see a simultaneous release in Morocco in four to five screens, including theatres in Casablanca and Marrakech," said Amrita Pandey, executive director, Syndication, Disney UTV.

Director duo Abbas-Mustan was also present to talk about their film.

"The negative characters in our films are very lovable," said Abbas. "It's not like the character is negative and so people will start hating them."

"In our films, people like negative character and we are sure that people will like John [Abraham] in this film," he added. "Not only John, all the six characters have grey shades, and we hope people will love them all."

Co-produced by UTV Motion Pictures and TIPS Industries, Race 2 is the sequel to 2008 film Race.
