The audio of director Vijay’s Think Big Studios Saivam was launched on Saturday evening (April 5) at a convention hall of a five star. It was a packed auditorium, and people could hardly move around, as Vijay has a large set of friends, their entire family, well-wishers and bigwigs in the industry.

All the male guests at the event were wearing dhoti, as the film is village based. An ambience of  a village was created outside the venue.  The cynosure of all eyes was Baby Sara and other kids in the film along with Nasser who plays the powerful grandfather’s role in Saivam.

GV Prakash the hero of the day was present along with his lovely wife Saindhavi. Each song in the album was released by a star guest. Jayam Ravi and Samuthirakani launched the first song in the album, followed by Ponvannan, Sanya, Parthipan , director Vasanth, Vijay Sethupathy, Siddharth. The audio album was released by Amala Paul , Anushka and Gautham Menon.

One of the highlights of the evening was singer Unnikrishnan’s daughter Uthara singing the song “Azhagu..”, which is picturised on Baby Sara in the film. Uthara and Sara got maximum applause from the pre-dominantly family audiences which turned up for the audio launch.

The other highlight of the evening was Nasser bonding with his son Luthfudeen Basha, who is making his debut with the film. Nasser’s younger son has come out with a game based on the film Saivam.

It was a well-conceptualised audio launch as some songs from the film, its making and finally the theatrical trailer were screened at the venue. Vijay has such good will in the industry that almost all top producers, directors and actors turned up for the function.

It was a star studded event. Vijay at the end of the long evening thanked each and every cast and crew of the film along with celebrity guest at the event. Saivam is scheduled as summer release in May.
