The shooting of the songs is now under progress. One song is presently being picturised in the Kanteerava Studios in a special set. Producer Suresh said that the major portions of the film have been shot in Madikeri, Bengaluru, Mysore and other places.

"The main strength of the film is Abhay's script and a new combination of two talented artists, Ganesh and Deepa Sannidhi. We have rallied good artists and technicians for this film. Anant Nag, Rajesh Nataranga, Vinaya Prasad, Anu Prabhakar and Achyuth Rao are part of the cast", added Suresha.

Director Abhay Sinha said that the title of the film, Sakkare, means sweetness of love.

Ganesh said that he is happy to play the lead role in a film made by Media House. Ganesh said that the film is a different type of romantic story. "There are many type of love stories. But here the pattern is different. People are sure to notice the changes when the film gets released", said Ganesh.

Deepa Sannidhi, who is working in her fourth film, expressed her happiness to be working with a big star like Ganesh. "The entire team is very good. The whole team works like a family. And I have the best role in the film. I am enjoying this song sequence as Harsha is my favourite choreographer who has worked for all the films I had acted so far in", said Deepa.
