The audio launch of Rajesh directed Oru Kal Oru Kannadi (OKOK) was followed by a press meet. The producers of the film Red Giants are putting that extra effort in maintaining high visibility for the film with posters plastered all over the city
OKOK marketing team are brain storming about the marketing strategies and promotions needed to be deployed to ensure that the film gets a good opening when it releases in April.
At the press meet when asked whether Santhanam has upstaged him in the film, Udhay said : " No. Santhanam is the hero of the film!"
As a part of the promotional strategy Udhayanidhi Stalin the hero and producer of the film has come out with a brilliant idea where “product Santhanam” will be marketed as the USP of the film!
Santhanam is the flavour of the season. The publicity stills and posters have Santhanam’s face and even the trailers of the film have the comedian’s one-liners and humorous dialogues. The buzz is that Santhanam shares equal screen space with the hero and heroine Hansika.
It looks to be a win-win situation for Udhayanidhi, as OKOK piggyback riding on Santhanam is sure to take a fantastic opening. At the end of the day if the film is able to get the weekend audiences, it will be declared a hit by the trade.
