Debutant director Ramesh strives hard to make a neat social entertainer though the second half drags a little bit. But on the whole the film is entertaining and worth a watch.

He has chosen the tried and tested formula of love and friendship which will appeal to the youth of today. The hero believes in the theory that a boy and girl can be friends without falling in love with each other. Siddu (Siddharth) and Ramya (Pranathi) are buddies in college. They respect friendship immensely and hide their feelings towards each other.

Time and again Ramya and Siddu declare that they are just pure friends and he even goes to the extent of searching a life partner for her. And after many a twists in the friendship tale the lovers understands that they cannot live without each other. The film is inspired from a Malayalam film Niram which was later remade into Telugu and Tamil.

But the director has been able to make the film entertaining with its fresh presentation and excellent songs picturisation. But the second half is tedious and could have been trimmed a little bit to make it slicker. The lead pair has given a good performance and Rajesh Krishnan in the role with shades of grey is promising. Ananthnag and Sadhu Kokila are excellent. Prayog’s two tunes are good and the songs are well-choreographed. The film is visually appealing with good camerawork.

Verdict: Entertaining
