At the press meet, debutant director Sinish said that he watched twenty to thirty Hollywood films to prepare the script of Balloon.
“There are directors who make films based on Mounaragam and say that they never saw the film. I’ve mentioned the list of films which inspired me to make Balloon in the opening credits”, said an outspoken Sinish, who took a dig at director Atlee.
“I feel that actors and technicians should start working on sharing basis. Only then, producers can make more films and the industry will also become a better place”, added Sinish. When asked why the film’s hero Jai didn’t attend the event, Sinish said that the actor does not believe in promotions. “Script is the hero of my film”, said Sinish.
Anjali and Janani Iyer, the two heroines of the film said that they are confident with the content. Mahesh of Auraa Cinemas said that except Tamil Nadu, they have locked the business for other areas across the globe. “Anjali has a good market in Telugu, we are planning to release the film in more than 350 screens”, said Mahesh.
