‘Jinnah Creations’ new film Seval was launched amidst much fanfare at the Vijaya Garden’s BNR Auditorium. The movie is produced by M A Jinnah and directed by Hari. The film has Bharath, Simran and Poonam Bajwa in lead roles.
The puja was attended by M.Saravanan, Rama Narayanan and K Balachandar along with other luminaries including Vijayakumar, Perarasu, RB Chowdary, SA Chandrasekar, YG Mahendran, T.Ajaykumar, Manjula, Monica, Na Muthukumar, Sampath Raj, Arun Vijay, Ganja Karuppu and Krishna. Bharath (suited) and director Hari were seen welcoming the guests on stage along with the producer. Almost all the guests insisted on garlanding Bharath and Hari.
Simran arrived later to address the press. Director Hari revealed that the first half of the film has a lot of fun and frolic where Bharath has teamed up with Vadivelu for a laugh riot. The second half is full of emotion. The screenplay is such that one cannot guess what is going to happen in the second half. Regarding Simran’s character, he said that it’s better to keep the suspense. He strongly denied that she played a sister or anni in the film as the press has been speculating so far. Hari promised that it’s a film that youth will enjoy.
The story is about a youth who roams without a care in the world ( like a seval?) and then what happens to him after some problems hit his life.
Bharath was on cloud nine to get a good producer and director to further his career and revealed that it was indeed a challenge to match Vadivelu’s performance in the film and to keep pace with him.
Hari clarified that his next venture with Surya is titled ‘Singam’ and work will begin on it at the end of the year.
