King Khan is embroiled in yet another high-profile brawl. This time it was with Shirish Kunder, the husband of his former friend, Farah Khan.
The scuffle took place at Sanjay Dutt's Filmfare after party.
Shah Rukh has remained unavailable for comment but both Farah and Shirish have spoken up about the incident.
"Shah Rukh has always told me that physical abuse is the worst way to sort out a problem and that it means the person who is hitting has either a professional or personal crisis going on and it saddens me to see him doing the same," Farah said in an official statement.
"Thanks for all your concern and wishes. We are very grateful. Contrary to rumours, we have no intention of filing an FIR or police complaint," tweeted Kunder.
While Shah Rukh and Farah fell out when he refused to do Tees Maar Khan, Kunder and he seem to have been at daggers drawn ever since he rejected the offer to star in Joker. One such instance was when Ra.One released and Kunder tweeted his verdict - "a 150 cr firework fizzle"
Reported eyewitness accounts state that Shah Rukh made a beeline for Kunder as soon as he arrived at the party and dragged the director down by his hair. Baba Dewan, the owner of the club where the party was hosted, is said to have intervened. But it wasn't until Sanjay Dutt came along that the scuffle broke up.
Dutt was seen escorting King Khan out of the venue with a protective arm around the latter's shoulder.
A couple of celebrities have come out in support of Shah Rukh.
