Jabardasth: First look

Dum Dum Pee Pee, the Tamil dubbed version of Siddharth-Samantha Telugu film Jabardasth, romantic comedy film written and directed by Nandini Reddy has been stayed by Delhi High Court!

Yash Raj Films (YRF), Bollywood’s leading production house had filed a suit against Sri Sai Ganesh Productions producers of Jabardasth, its director Nandini Reddy and Tirupathy Brothers the producers of its Tamil version Dum Dum Pee Pee for the unauthorized remake of their Band Baaja Baraat.

Remember Jabardasth released last month and everybody said it was a rip-off of Band Baaja Baraat and the film flopped. Now YRF has got a stay from Delhi High Court  “restraining the defendants from releasing Jabardasth in any other format including DVD, CD, Blu-Ray discs or in any other electronic or magnetic formats including on television”.

It also means Tirrupathy Brothers cannot release the Tamil dubbed version of Jabardasth, Dum Dum Pee Pee (DDPP) which was scheduled for a summer release. DDPP had become hot in the Tamil Nadu marketing following Siddharth-Samantha romance and their visit to Kalahasthi temple together.
