By playing the hero in Malayalam’s costliest film until now, Nivin Pauly had taken a huge risk. Kayamkulam Kochunni had a huge budget and as the hero of the movie, Nivin had to create magic on screen, so that the cash registers started ringing from the word go.
Now, as Kayamkulam Kochunni heads to the 50 crore mark, Nivin has done just that.
The huge success of Kayamkulam Kochunni has cemented Nivin Pauly’s position as the most popular star among the young heroes. After blockbusters like Premam and Bangalore Days, Nivin is once again at the top maintaining his ability to bring in huge numbers.
Kayamkulam Kochunni director Rosshan Andrrews has gone on record stating the hard work that the young hero has put in for making his role perfect. Nivin had devoted nine months for Kayamkulam Kochunni, which is there to be seen on screen.
Nivin Pauly has three projects right now at various stages of completion. Geethu Mohandas’ Moothon is one film that the young hero is super thrilled about. Nivin has told sify.com that he was delighted to see the efforts that Geethu takes to make her movie perfect.
Nivin is also doing Mikhael, directed by Haneef Adeni. The young hero teams up with south Indian sensation Nayanthara in Dhyan Sreenivasan’s Love Action Drama. Come next year, he will be seen teaming up with director Rajeev Ravi in a prestigious new project.
