Skyfall, the 23rd film in the James Bond series, had its premiere at a red carpet event in Royal Albert Hall, London. Daniel Craig turned up for his third premiere for a Bond film. He has played the character in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace previously.
It was special this time as this year marks the 50th anniversary of the iconic character. Craig called the event "incredible" and described it as the biggest and the best that's he seen so far.
One wouldn't be suprised if the character becomes one of the Crown Jewels soon with all the royal support it has been getting lately. After parachuting down into a stadium with Her Majesty the Queen at the opening ceremony of the Olympics, Bond was greeted this time at the premiere by Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall.
Director Sam Mendes attended the event along with the stellar cast comprising of Bond villain Javier Bardem, Bond Girls Naomie Harris and Berenice Marlohe, Dame Judi Dench (playing M), Ben Whishaw as the new Q and Ralph Fiennes.
Skyfall releases in cinemas in India on November 2. Follow our coverage of the film here.
