Slumdog Millionaire, Jai Ho bag Grammy nominations

Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire and the song Jai Ho from the multiple-Oscar winning film have bagged Grammy nominations.

The movie is nominated in the best compilation soundtrack album for motion picture and TV category, along with Cadillac Records, Inglourious Basterds, True Blood and Twilight.

The song Jai Ho is nominated in the best song written for motion picture and TV category. Gulzar penned the song and A.R. Rahman composed it.

Hollywood nominations in the category included The Climb from Hannah Montana: The Movie, Decode from Twilight, Once in a Lifetime from Cadillac Records by Beyonce, and The Wrestler from The Wrestler by Bruce Springsteen.
