Sonakshi grooves live to Thank God It's Friday

From the girl who wasn't too sure about doing item numbers to the one wanting to become the 'queen of item numbers', Sonakshi Sinha has come a long way indeed!

The actress has done her second item song in her upcoming film Himmatwala. And she brought it live to her fans recently at the launch of the song, Thank God It's Friday.

Not only did Sonakshi dance to it - dressed in a sequined gold and silver gown - but she had director Sajid Khan as her DJ.

Sajid said that Sonakshi "was the first and only choice for the song". In fact, had she not agreed to do it, he would have dropped the song completely!
