Actress Bhumi Pednekar, who is gearing up for her fourth film which revolves around the Chambal dacoits, says it is a "fantastic script".
The movie is titled Sone Chidiya.
"This is going to be my next film after Shubh Mangal Saavdhan and it's being directed by Abhishek Chaubey," Bhumi told IANS over phone from Mumbai.
The 27-year-old did not share much details about her role, but said that she is excited to play the character.
"I am very excited to play this character. It is a challenging script and film," she said.
Sone Chdiiya is being produced by Ronnie Screwvala and the Toilet: Ek Prem Katha actress is ecstatic about the collaboration.
"Ronnie Screwvala and RSVP are making it. I am extremely excited about this collaboration. Ronnie sir in the past has supported such amazing films. So, I am really excited about working with him and Abhishek (Chaubey)," Bhumi said.
The film also stars Sushant Singh Rajput in the main lead.
Talking about working with Sushant, Bhumi said: "Sushant is the main lead in the film and he is such a phenomenal actor. So, I am really excited to see how everything unfolds."
The film is being helmed by Abhishek Chaubey of Ishqiya and Udta Punjab fame.
At an interview, the stellar director revealed that he’s happy that the stars are shedding their star persona.
"When I'm writing the script I don't know who's going to play it. You first create the character and then find the right actor to play it. "
While his first two films, Ishqiya and Dedh Ishqiya, had romance, comedy and crime, his next venture Udta Punjab was an out-and-out serious film based on the issue of drugs.

Sources close to the director revealed that the controversial script has been inspired by a few real-life instances. However, the director hasn’t commented on the rumour, yet.
Reportedly, the movie will be high on emotions and drama with a love story in the backdrop.
Director Abhishek Chaubey is known for his films rooted in small towns or interiors of India, especially the northern part of the county and his next outing will also have a countryside setting.
After completing their pre-production work, including a thorough recce across various shooting locations, the team will start rolling the film from 10th January 2018 onwards. Sone Chidiya will be shot across real locations of Morena and Bhind in Madhya Pradesh.
The film also stars Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead role. After his much talked about Chanda Mama Door Ke has been put on hold, the actor has been maintaining a low profile regarding his upcoming projects.
The MS Dhoni: The Untold Story star said his focus has always been about doing things he likes -- irrespective of their result.
The actor claimed that he doesn’t work for accolades or recognition, he works because he loves it.
"If somebody gives you validation about your work then obviously it feels good but I don't look forward to any awards."
"My job is done once the last day of shoot ends. I am a very selfish actor. I am just concerned about kind of experience I have while shooting the film. I just don't care about box office numbers. Just being on the film set and shooting for the film is the most important thing for me," the actor told IANS.
Currently, the actor is busy with Kedarnath, which also marks the debut of Saif Ali Khan’s daughter, Sara Ali Khan.
