The entire south film industry comprising of Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam will take a six-day break when they celebrate 100 years of Cinema.
L Suresh, honorary secretary of the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce who is hosting the show said : “ We have planned cultural shows of artists from all four languages. So we have asked all film bodies including FEFSI to ensure that there are no shoots from September 18 to 24.”
The Chief Ministers of all the four southern states and President of India has been invited for the meet. The organisers are also planning to screen classics from all four languages in select movie theatres.
