The much-awaited Nandamuri Balakrishna-Bapu-Ilayaraja venture – Sri Rama Rajyam – is all set for a global release on November 10, coinciding with the Guru Purnima celebrations.
A press briefing was arranged at the Film Nagar Cultural Center in Hyderabad to reveal the details of the movie`s release. The film is made on Sri Saibaba Movies banner with Bapu directing it. Nayantara played the divine goddess Seetha Devi.
Balakrishna said: "The Telugu audiences worldwide are eagerly awaiting the release of Sri Rama Rajyam. The movie gave the entire unit much satisfaction. It came as a poetical journey in the direction of Bapu, coupled with great music of Ilayaraja. The film will be on the lines of the grace of Lava Kusa. In fact, Lava Kusa is the inspiration for Sri Rama Rajyam.
"Highlight of the film is that the producer could take meticulous care in the selection of the artists and the technicians as well. At the same time, the venture went though without any clash of dates for both the groups. At present, graphics work is going on. We are releasing the film on November 10, the Guru Purnima day."
Producer Saibaba said: "I personally thank Ilayaraja for his extraordinarily divine music. He had been to Hungary to concentrate on the composition. While doing this film, Balayya babu received the Nandi Award. Akkineni Nageswara Rao garu, who played the Valmiki, obtained the Padmavibhushan honor. I thank the Ramoji Film City management for all their cooperation. Definitely, God is behind our effort. Without his grace, our venture would have been impossible."
