Nandamuri Balakrishna, with a forte for mythological movies, has always showed his readiness for the genre. After Bhairava Dweepam in the 90s, there hasn't been another to match his taste. But all that changes now, with an elated Balakrishna working with Viswanath for the film Sri Rama Rajyam shoot from November 22.
After a considerable delay Nayanthara has been zeroed in on to take on the mantle of Seetha, while NBK portrays Lord Rama. The highlight of the movie is music by Ilayaraja. Eight songs have been recorded.
The movie is going on the floors from November 22. Kamal Kannan, an expert in visual effects, has been roped in for the job. The plot revolves around the time when Lord Rama ruled as King of Ayodhya.
Mullapudi Venkataramana, who regularly works with Babu, is working on the dialogues and screenplay. Yalamanchili Saibaba, the producer, said that Sri Rama Rajyam will be released on screen without any compromise in production values.
