Nandamuri Balakrishna-Nayanthara starrer mythological film Sri Ramarajyam on Thursday celebrated its 50 days run amidst the cast and crew, elite of the industry and Nandamuri fans at Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad.
Balakrishna, Nayanthara, Rama Naidu, Dasari, Raghavendra Rao, Krishnam Raju, Ilayaraja, Bapu, Balasubramanyam, K. Viswanath, Edida Nageswara Rao, Tannikella Bharani, Murali Mohan, Srikanth, distributors and exhibitors were present.
Dasari Narayana Rao distributed shields to the crew.
Dasari Narayana Rao said: "I watched this film after the demise of my wife.All through the film, I felt that I am with Lord Rama. The film is a proud venture from us Teluguites. In fact, this 50 days function is equal to the365-days. Producer Saibabu did make an adventure with this subject."
Balakrishna said: "I thank all the guests and fans here. I am always ready to unfold the tradition which was long back launched by my father (late NTR). Producer Saibabu is to be appreciated for his belief that I would do great as Lord Rama. Bapu`s direction skill is wonderful. I took a lot of care while doing this sacred role. Nayanthara brought grace to the role of Goddess Sita Devi. Sri Ramarajyam is the result of team work."
Highlight of the function was Nayanthara who was seen in a traditional attire befitting the mood of the event.
