Srihari, noted Telugu actor passes away!

Top Telugu actor Srihari(49), died on Wednesday at Mumbai’s Leelavathi Hospital where he was undergoing treatment for a liver disorder.

He was shooting for Prabhu Deva directed Rambo Rajkumar when he complained of giddiness  and was rushed to the hospital. Sources say that the actor was suffering from liver ailment for some time.

Srihari has done many films as hero, villain and character roles in his two-decade film career. He made an appearance with his family in public last year for the audio release of ‘3’ starring Dhanush and Shruti Haasan in Hyderabad.

He is married to former actress ’Disco’ Shanti  and they have two sons. He was an active social worker and undertook charity works in four villages of Medchal from where he aspired to contest in the next elections on a Congress ticket.

He had acted in 98 movies and two more of his films were just to be released. He started his tryst with the tinsel world in 1986 with the film ‘Thirugbaatu.’ Srihari has done many memorable films and was last seen in the big film `Toofan’ starring Ram Charan Tej. He had also played an important role as ‘Sher Khan’ in Ram Charan Tej’s hit movie ‘Magadheera’. His film titled ‘Police Game’ was released after several postponements last week.
Srihari has won the  Nandi award for Best villain.He also won the best character actor Nandi award for ‘Nuvvosthanante Nenoddantana’.
