A written complaint has been filed by an Alibag-based activist against Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Deja Vu Farms Pvt Ltd, the organization's CEO and others for utilizing fabricated papers in gaining an expansive size of plot for the development of super-extravagant homes.
The IT authorities chose to interrogate two investors Deja Vu Farms and recorded their statements keeping in mind the end goal to check if any benami exchanges had occurred in lieu of Shah Rukh Khan.
The area spanning over 19,960 square meters comprises a colossal swimming pool, one private helipad and a huge bungalow.
Made up of 5 plots of land along the ocean side, the bungalow offers a scenic view of the beach.
The significant assertion against Shah Rukh Khan is that he had made an application to buy horticultural land for agribusiness, however rather developed an uber luxurious bungalow at Alibag.
Prior to the year 2009, the concerned plot was an agricultural land. As per the coastal zone management plan, the land was within the Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ)-III area (within 200 m of the high tide line). Rules say, on such land, no new construction can be done, only repairs of pre-1991 houses were permitted without changing the plinth of the old house, reported a leading daily.
Allegations against SRK:
The Chennai Express actor and conspired with someone and forged a document showing that a large pre-1991 bungalow existed on the open agricultural land.
SRK and his wife, Gauri Khan, formed a company - Deja Vu Farms Pvt Ltd as equal partners. "The forgery of the land records was done for the benefit of the company," the complainant said.
The company was floated by two shareholders, namely, Sriniwas Parthsarthy and Somsekhar Sundaresham on December 27, 2004. However, the records show that the actual directors of the company are the relatives of Gauri Khan.
As per the Ministry of Corporate Affairs website, the directors of Deja Vu Farms are Gauri's mother and sister-in-law.
After setting up the company, SRk got permission under Section 63 of the Bombay Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act, 1948 (which stipulated that only a farmer could buy agricultural land) and then fraudulently used the land to construct his house.
Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan are yet to comment on these allegations.
Recently, the Baadshah of Bollywood celebrated his birthday at his Alibaug home with close-knit family and friends.
Seen at SRK's party were Karan Johar, Farah Khan, Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Siddharth Malhotra among others.
