Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla paraded the golden IPL trophy for over 50,000 cricket buffs in Eden Garden, while around 1.5 lakh people stood outside, unable to make it to the stadium.
The crowd went wild as King Khan blew kisses, waved and did a few steps of his popular Lungi Dance atop an elevated podium.
Juhi walked with the players as KKR's anthem was sung in the background by singer Usha Uthup.
"I don't think any other state or any other country in the world has this kind of support or love for sporting heroes. So thank you Kolkata for supporting us through thick and thin," said the Bollywood Baadshah.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was present at the ceremony. She hugged and congratulated SRK on the team's stellar performance.
Dressed in a white KKR jersey, a ponytailed SRK along with Juhi, KKR skipper Gautam Gambhir and Banerjee, cut a giant cake modelled on the cricket stadium.
