Kamal Haasan, who recently criticized the Tamil Nadu Government for its corrupt administration is getting threats from various ministers including Law Minister CV Shanmugam and Minister for Municipal Administration, P Velumani.
"No Government department is free from corruption", said Kamal Haasan at his recent press meet.
On Sunday, CV Shamnugam said that Kamal Haasan deserved to be booked under Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste (Prevention of Atrocities) Act for commenting a few Bigg Boss Participants’ conduct as ‘slum behavior’. P Velumani also said that an audit should be conducted to check whether Kamal Haasan paid his taxes or not.
Now supporting Kamal Haasan, DMK leader MK Stalin said that Kamal Haasan’s comments only reflect the mindset of Tamil Nadu people, every voter has the right to criticize the corrupted benami government.
Kamal Haasan thanked Stalin and firmly said his criticisms will continue against corruption. “If you still want me to apologize I will. No one is above law ...except your gods. God is no reason just a ruse for some”, tweeted Kamal on reacting to the threats he is receiving from the Ministers of TN Government.
