In his recent interview to Ananda Vikatan, Kamal Haasan has mentioned that stories of Mahabharatham and Ambuli Mama were rehashed in Baahubali.

Answering a question on whether Hey Ram was ahead of its times, Kamal said: “No one can be advanced like that. So will you be saying Baahubali should have released thirty years before? We have already seen the same story in Mahabharatham and Ambuli Mama. You are calling me advanced, then what about Andha Naal, it should’ve released now”.

“I never thought 16 Vayadhinile would become such a massive hit, it gave life not only to Bharathiraaja but to several other people associated with the film”, added Kamal Haasan, who says he makes films which he would like to watch as a fan and doesn’t bother much on the hit rate.

On ticket pricing, the ‘Ulaganagayan’ says “Government is not fixing price for posh cars, the same way they can’t control ticket price. If people doesn’t buy tickets for a high price, that’s fine as an industry, we can accept our defeat”.

Kamal is currently busy shooting for Bigg Boss reality show for Vijay Television. "Just like how both Munna Bhai and Vasool Raja are two different films, my version of Bigg Boss will be different from the one presented by Salman Khan in Hindi", said Kamal Haasan.

Bigg Boss will be aired from June 18 in Vijay TV.
