Filmmaker Subhash Ghai's media and film institute Whistling Woods International has been approached by London-based Faiths Forum to help spread the message of racial harmony across the world.
Whistling Woods International has joined in the noble cause, and will be assisting the Faiths Forum via medium of hosting conferences and counseling people on the idea of racial indiscrimination, said a statement.
"We live in a country that is so diverse, and an initiative that talks of tying all faiths in a single thread will ensure the harmonious working of society for generations to come," said Meghna Ghai, president, Whistling Woods International.
"As an institute of film and media, it is part of our vision to create ethical and conscientious citizens of the world and opportunities like these are what help us achieve this vision," she added.
The institute has also announced a short film competition for their upcoming festival called "Cinema 100 - The Next Wave", which will invite short film entries on the theme 'Unity of Faiths'.
