Sun Pictures, the producers of Thalapathy Vijay’s Sarkar have filed caveat petition in the Madras High Court which means no one can issue stay order to the film before getting the opinion of the production house.
Meanwhile, a writer named Varun aka Rajendran filed a case against director Murugadoss for lifting his story. According to Varun, he officially registered a script named ‘Sengol’ in South Indian Film Writers Association. According to Varun, after he filed a complaint against Sarkar, the association’s head K Bhagyaraj read the script of Sengol and Sarkar, he even concluded that both the scripts have a striking resemblance.
Varun’s case against Sarkar and Murugadoss is scheduled for hearing today in the Madras High Court. It is worth mentioning that Aramm director Gopi Nainar had accused Murugadoss saying that the story of Kaththi belongs to him.
