If the rumours doing the rounds are to be believed, actor Suresh Gopi has taken the Kodeeswaran tag pretty seriously.
The successful anchor of the Kodeeswaran programme has hiked his price recently to a crore! And if some sources are to be believed, he was paid the money for his role in director Joshiy's forthcoming film, Kashmir.
The industry assessment is that only Mammootty and Mohanlal have crossed the one crore per film mark in Malayalam. Suresh Gopi, who has not been active in Malayalam and will be seen in Tamil director Shankar's I next, has demanded a crore from some of the Malayalam producers who had approached him of late.
When he was offered Kashmir, the hero demanded a crore as his remuneration and he has reportedly been signed in as well.
Suresh Gopi has also got handsome payment for some recent advertisements, if certain rumours are to be believed.
