At the grand press meet of Thaanaa Serndha Koottam in Chennai, Suriya said “There won’t be any statutory warning in Thaanaa Serndha Koootam (TSK) and censor board officially appreciated director Vignesh ShivN for delivering a clean film. I would say that TSK is a positive film catered for this festival season”.
“I saw traces of Kamal sir’s Sathya in TSK. I used to play as an angry young man in many films but people who have watched TSK and from the teaser, fans say that they are seeing a different Suriya. Acting under Vignesh ShivN’s director was a different experience”, said the actor who also spoke high on Vignesh ShivN and Anirudh combo.
“Watching the process of Vignesh and Anirudh working in the studio was a pleasant experience, they spontaneously make songs and today after a long time, I got a hit album with TSK. Earlier, Harris sir used to give me hit albums and now, Anirudh has made it possible with Thaanaa Serndha Kottam”, added the actor.
Suriya also conveyed his wishes to Superstar Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan and Vishal for their political journey. The film’s director Vignesh ShivN said that he only borrowed the core plot of Special 26 and made the necessary changes to make it more entertaining for the Tamil audiences.
The film’s producer Gnanavel Raja’s speech was the highlight of the event. He said “I won’t blame anyone for the mistake I did by bailing out of Uttama Villain. I know that couldn’t contribute much to Thaanaa Serndhaa Kottam but Suriya sir and Vignesh ShivN were supportive, they didn’t complain much”.
“I was little late to the event because things got cleared just about now and TSK will definitely release this Pongal”, said Gnanavel hinting that he has successfully crossed all the financial hurdles. “From today, I’m starting a new innings in the industry. I assure everyone that I will not give hard times anymore and my apology to close friends and family for the inconvenience caused”, said the producer.
Thaanaa Serndha Koottam is all set to release on January 12.
