Suriya in an exclusive interview to India’s finest and best known television news anchor Dr Prannoy Roy of NDTV was all praise for his younger brother Karthi and his achievements.
Suriya who was thrilled to be interviewed by Prannoy in a special section on southern superstar’s said: “Karthi has emerged as a star and the business done by his films is big. All his three films released are hits and in fact at the moment he has a better hit ratio than mine!”
Suriya was all praise for RGV and his role in Rakthacharitra, and said that he will definitely try a hand at an occasional Hindi films, but will be rooted in Tamil cinema.
He also confessed that he changed his school as he didn’t want to take Hindi as third language but has now dubbed for the Hindi origin.
On lighter vein Suriya made Prannoy burst out laughing when he said: “ I used to laugh when Jo (Jyothika) used to speak in Tamil and now my Hindi makes her laugh even more.” The actor also made it clear that he has no intention to join politics and is happy with his social activities and NGO work. Prannoy congratulated him for not taking up politics.
