Actors Sushmita Sen and Fardeen Khan, along with director Muddasar Aziz, breezed into Kolkata on Wednesday evening to promote their forthcoming film Dulha Mil Gaya.
They also interacted with jewellery connoisseurs of Gitanjali’s Asmi Jewels at Sirkar Hohure store, south Kolkata.
“Asmi as a brand is close to my heart and it gives me immense pleasure to visit this store in the festive season of Christmas and promote my film,” Sushmita said.
Sushmita plays a model called Shimmer in the film, for whom love and relationships aren’t quite as important in life as independence and success are.
Talking about the film, Fardeen said: “Dulha Mil Gaya is a heart-warming tale of four individuals, each of whom has different takes on relationships. It’s a satiating romantic experience.”
Fardeen’s character in the film — Donsai — is that of a young commitment phobic debonair, who is petrified with the idea of terms like ‘marriage’ and ‘long-term relationships’.
Muddasar, who is also lyricist of the film, said: “People already like the music of the film; that’s our achievement more than anything else. People will be able to relate them to the music and will surely enjoy every bit of the film.”
The film also stars Shah Rukh Khan as Pawan Raj Gandhi (PRG), a suave multi-millionaire, whose heart still remains larger than his bank balance and for whom winning love is the only victory in life.
Ishitta Sharma plays Samarpreet, a quintessential Punjabi girl, for whom relationships are to be cherished and lived by.
