Daddy Saif Ali Khan is leaving no stone unturned to pamper his son, chote nawab Taimur Ali Khan.
The son of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan is 11 months old and will celebrate his first birthday on 20th December.
On the grand occasion of Children's Day, gifted his son, Taimur Ali Khan, a 1.30 crore worth Jeep Cherokee with an additional baby seat. The gift was presented in true Nawabi style.
The Chef actor bought the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT for his little one. When Saif was asked about who will be the first person to get a drive in his brand new jeep, he said, “If you see, there’s a baby seat in the car, so I think Taimur is going to get the first ride.”
When questioned about Taimur's present for his first Children’s Day, Saif replied instantly, “Ah! I will have to think about it. I think I will give this car to him (smiles). I think security is also very important and this car has a very lovely baby seat at the back. I am very excited. I think Taimur will love the color, nice cherry red jeep! I have actually thought that I will keep this car for him.”
Currently, the Rangoon is shooting for Netflix's Sacred Games, based on Vikram Chandra's novel of the same name. The series being directed by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane.
In the series, Saif Ali Khan plays Sartaj Singh, a policeman in the series which explores Mumbai's underworld.
Starring with Saif Ali Khan are Radhika Apte and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
While Taimur's daddy is busy with the series, his mommy is busy with Veere Di Wedding.
While some may thought that motherhood might have changed Kareena Kapoor Khan's work life, the actress says that it hasn't affected her professional life much, reported ANI.
While giving an interview to a leading magazine, Filmfare, the 37-year-old actress, revealed that she has always been a family oriented person, so since the start of her career she has managed to balance between work and family.
She said, "My family is my priority. I am ambitious, but I've always had time for my family. For me, it's not always like work, work, work, I think I have managed to balance between my professional life and personal life since the starting of my career."
The actress was back fulfilling her professional commitments the very next month after having her son Taimur in December, 2016.
The Ki & Ka star also shared that she and Saif now avoid late nights because she has to get up really early in the morning for their son Taimur.
"My whole timing has changed and this is a big lifestyle change for me and Saif both," she added.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena is currently shooting for her upcoming film Veere De Wedding that also stars Sonam Kapoor, Shikha Talsania and Swara Bhaskar.
The first poster of Veere Di Wedding was unveiled on 25th October.
The poster features the four actress in an ivory sherwani paired with saafas (turban).
The film is a romantic comedy is co-produced by Sonam's sister Rhea Kapoor, Ekta and Nikhil Dwivedi.
Helmed by Shashanka Ghosh, the flick is slated to release on May 18, 2018.
While Taimur celebrated Children’s Day in true blue Nawabi style, his cousin (Soha Ali Khan’s daughter), Inaaya Naumi Kemmu, had a low key celebration.
Her father, actor Kunal Kemmu shared the first photograph of his "munchkin" on Twitter, wishing everyone on the occasion of Children’sDay!
Kunal shared the image on Twitter and captioned it: "Wishing all the children everywhere and my little munchkin a very happy children's day. May your innocence continue to inspire us to be better people Happy Children's Day."
He welcomed his first bundle of joy with his actress-wife Soha Ali Khan in September 29. Kunal was in a live-in relationship with Soha, daughter of veteran actress Sharmila Tagore and the late Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, since May 2013. They got engaged in July 2014 and tied the knot in January 2015.
The pair have together worked in films like 99, Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge and Mr Joe B. Carvalho.
