We've all been trying to get a sneak peek at Reema Kagti's all-starrer ever since it went on the floor. But having Aamir Khan as one of the lead stars meant things were hush-hush just the way the 'perfectionist' likes it. A couple of times we've grabbed glimpses of Aamir lunching with the crew. And then there was Satyamev Jayate, Aamir's labour of love, for which the film's release was pushed. Now, the wait seems worthwhile.
Inspector Shekhawat (Aamir Khan) takes on a 'high profile' case - an accident involving a movie star that seems to be anything but. He follows the trail, discovers other similar incidents. In the midst of this is the tantalizing Rosie (Kareena Kapoor), an escort. She offers to help. But then, things get murkier.
There's a watery past that begins to visit Shekhawat in his nightmares. With each moment there's a growing unease that Shekhawat is somehow linked to the crime.
Add to the near-volatile mix of action and suspense, matrimonial discord with the Inspector's wife (Rani Mukerji).
The trailer doesn't let on more than it should. But it does enough to make us line-up for advance booking.
Music director Ram Sampath teams-up with Aamir yet again. He works the brief to a T and delivers both a haunting & adrenaline-driven background score.
