Tamil Nadu theaters should install CCTV before Diwali!

In a recent meeting held between Tamil Film Producers Council and Theater Owners Association, Producers have instructed theater owners to install CCTV cameras in their premises before Diwali. They have also strictly told that theaters which have CCTV facility only will be eligible to screen new Diwali releases.

Following are the important points discussed in the meeting…

1 CCTV cameras should be installed inside and outside the movie hall, parking area and entrance. This should be done before November 6 (Diwali).

2 The cameras should record all the activities 24*7.

3 Theaters which fails to install CCTV facility will not be given new films from November 15

4 Two members will be appointed in each theater to monitor the activities 

5 An awareness video on piracy and its ill effects will be screened in theaters across Tamil Nadu

6 Audiences who have camera will not be allowed inside the theaters.
